Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 whole egg
- 1/2 cup sugar
Directions
Preheat oven to 350.
Combine cream, milk, and vanilla.
In a separate bowl, mix together (with whisk or beater) sugar, egg yolks, and whole egg until they lighten.
Add cream mixture in steady stream.
Divide into 4 ramekins set in baking dish and pour hot water around dishes until about 1/2 way up sides.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until knife in middle comes out clean.
Take out of water and chill at least 2 hours.
Cover the top (1 tsp or more) with turbinado sugar.
Brown the sugar with a torch.
You can eat as is, or top with berries.
