Never Fail Pie Crust

This pie crust can be frozen and it can be rerolled.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups shortening
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Flour to clean bowl

Directions

Put shortening in medium mixing bowl with salt. Pour boiling water over all and whip until creamy and cool. Add flour until bowl is clean and dough handles easily. Makes 2 double pie crusts.
