Directions & Ingredients
Blend:
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1 cup sugar
Add with wooden spoon:
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
Mix in separate bowl:
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Add to first bowl, and stir in 1/2 cup nuts.
Spread in greased 9×9 pan. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes. Cool and frost.
Chocolate Frosting
Cream:
- 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 3 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Add and beat:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1-2 tablespoons milk
