Mom made hundreds of these rolls for my wedding. She was making and freezing dough for months in advance! One note, don’t leave them on the pan to cool or they will dry out faster. Also, this dough comes out really nice in my bread machine.

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups warm water
- 2 1/2 teaspoons yeast
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 3 1/4 cups white flour
Directions
Combine warm water and yeast. Then add the egg and oil. Next, add the salt, sugar and white flour and mix together well. Put a little bit of oil in the bottom of your bowl. Put dough down in the oil and spread the oil around the bowl with the bread dough. Then turn the dough over and let it rise until double in size. Punch down and make into rolls or loaves. Let rise until double in size. Makes 15 rolls or 2 loaves. Bake @ 400 F for 10 minutes.
